MWEC offers financial support through donations and sponsorships as well as the newly established Impact Grant (2025). Whether it's supporting grassroots efforts or sponsoring events that improve quality of life – we are honored to be your partner.

Impact Grant
(up to $25,000)

Accepting Applications for 2026

In 2025, the Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative (MWEC) board of directors introduced the Impact Grant Program to provide greater support for new infrastructure and capital enhancement projects within our service area. These funds are designed to improve the quality of life of MWEC members, employees, and communities.

To qualify for a grant, the project must fit within one of the grant focus areas identified below.

The MWEC Board of Directors awards grant applications as follows:
     2025 - CLOSED
     Awarded October 2025
        All applications received by July 31
 

Accepting Applications for:
     2026
     Awarded January 2026
        All Applications received by October 31, 2025
     2027
     Awarded January 2027
        All Applications received by October 31, 2026
