Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative serves rural members in Mountrail and Williams Counties.
In 1991, Mountrail Electric Cooperative and Williams Electric Cooperative merged to become Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative.
The cooperative is represented by nine board of directors, three from each district (West, Central, East)
On November 30th the Board of Directors made changes to the Voting District Policy. Marshall and Springbrook Townships were moved from District 1B to District 2B.
