Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative serves rural members in Mountrail and Williams Counties.
In 1991, Mountrail Electric Cooperative and Williams Electric Cooperative merged to become Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative.
The cooperative is represented by nine board of directors, three from each district (West, Central, East)
