Geri Bratvold, East District 3A
Geri Bratvold recently filled a vacant board seat as the representative of District 3A.
She is representing the members within the New Town city limits.
Hometown:
Bratvold has lived in New Town since 1966. She is originally from Cavalier, but considers New Town her hometown.
Family:
Geri and her husband, Warren, have two children, Amy and Douglas. They are also the proud grandparents to seven
incredible grandchildren.
Occupation:
Geri is a retired teacher, having worked 43 years for the New Town School District.
Hobbies or interests:
Geri enjoys reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.
Community involvement:
Currently, Geri is a city library volunteer, an activities planner for the senior citizens, and is a member of the Bethel Lutheran Women’s Group, Kopper Kettle Homemakers and the Beck-Sherven-Foreman Legion Auxiliary No. 290. She
also serves as president of the Bethel Lutheran Church Council and serves on the New Town city library board.
